My maternal ancestors are from the Dharug area: my 5x grandmother Mary and her daughter Louisa. They lived on the Hawkesbury River, near where I live at Mulgoa. I am sharing their place.

Many of my paintings are generic, and don't relate to any year in particular. I have occasionally downplayed the branding and logos, and just allowed the colours and figures to show through. Then the piece is timeless.
