My maternal ancestors are from the Dharug area: my 5x grandmother Mary and her daughter Louisa. They lived on the Hawkesbury River, near where I live at Mulgoa. I am sharing their place.

The World Beneath
These paintings are a record of the scenes that I witnessed in the underground reservoir that normally holds Sydney’s fresh drinking water, then emptied for maintenance. (Once every 20 years).
From a solo exhibition held at Gallery V, Woolloomooloo in 2015 titled “The World Beneath”. Some of these works are still available.
